Senator Susan Collins of Maine and Ben Cardin of Maryland have recently introduced a bipartisan bill to provide reimbursements for telehealth services furnished by home healthcare providers during the pandemic. Many home health providers are paying out of their own pockets to provide telehealth services to their patients. The bill will ease up some of the cost of telehealth as audio and video services can be qualified for reimbursements.
